Lesu upah upaya ( Burn Out Hires Will )
A performance piece reflecting the silent struggle in the Malaysian Control Movement order enacted to combat the Pandemic - Covid's strain, it saw the whole nation under lockdown for a duration of three months, with major industries and professions that are non-essential at a halt, which affected the already struggling livelihood of many art workers, causing many to find alternative ways to survive through the period.
The artist aims to show the cycle of disrespect placed upon the working class, from an overall capitalistic system's hold and in what's learned in being under it, catering the currency exchange of health for money, the lifeline in work that many of us hold on to, to continue the questionable function of making a living to stay afloat without care of overall wellbeing.
